Academy of Second Language Learning is headquartered in the Phoenix, Arizona area. It is universally known simple as "The Academy." It is owned by Academy Franchise Partnership, Inc., an Arizona corporation. Its sister instructional institutions are Academy of Private Investigation and Loss Prevention and Academy of English Language Learning.

The Academy [Academy of Second Language Learning] has developed and written the methods and practices, course curriculums, and text/work books for its professional private instructional institution that is now a Franchise. For its second language courses, The Academy has recorded its own proprietary audio recordings.

Courses are written for the general public, professionals, elementary school students, junior and senior high school students, Law Enforcement Officers and Agents, Private Investigators, Loss Prevention Professionals, Security Agents, Human Resources Professionals, Business Owners, Business Executives, Supervisors, Staff, and Management Trainees. This offers each Academy unit a wide range of Students.

The business model of The Academy situates Academy units in major metropolitan areas across the USA in order to maximize each Academy unit's income.

The Academy has determined that it will forgo the development and operation of "company" Academy units in favor of devoting all of its resources, time, and talent to its Franchisees. Franchise territories are awarded on a county-by-county basis in select states. These territories are exclusive in nature. Each territory, regardless of geographical location, has an assigned $50,000.00 franchisee fee. We will consider additional counties in which to grant franchises based upon Candidate, Regional Developer, or Franchisee requests.

A Franchisee may open as many Academy units as desired in a franchised territory at no additional franchise fee. The trend in franchising is definitely toward multi-unit operation, and The Academy believes that a Franchisee should be encouraged in their entrepreneurial spirit to fully develop a territory by way of additional units. Most counties are geographically large and encompass many areas that are well-suited to their own Academy units.

The Franchisee must be able to qualify for the corresponding state's private post secondary instructional institution license, where applicable. You may contact your state's licensing authority to determine if such a license is required, and, if so, which courses are affected (if any).

The Academy seeks a limited number of Franchisees nationwide for its offered territories. Multiple territory ownership is considered a very positive business trend that certainly fits The Academy perfectly.

The Academy has a network of nine (9) Regional Developers in addition to its Franchisees. Regional Developers help in the Franchisee selection process, train Instructors, and aid Franchisees to initiate their business and develop their territories to fullest potential. Our Regional Developers are also Franchisees, so their expertise in all areas and facets of the operation is perfectly germane to our Franchisees' businesses.
